Growing up in Northern California, Ann Erpino was inspired by a range of natural beauty and painted murals of imaginary pristine nature. Earning an art degree at U.C. Berkeley she also studied languages and sciences, and became intrigued by paint’s potential to quickly communicate ideas.
Ann has traveled broadly, seeking out natural wonders and archaeological sites overgrown with vegetation. She has worked as a muralist, portraitist, art teacher, and scenographic artist, and has painted over 100 commissioned works for leading scientists, translating their research and knowledge into images. Her art has been featured in films, publications, tv productions, and theater, and belongs to collectors worldwide.
